Wasn't planning on coming online right now, but it seems that i'm going through one of those 'really tired but not sleepy' phases where I just can't seem to get to sleep, no matter what I try.

So ... how is everyone's night tonight?

I've tried tea, hot milk, most anything associated with trying to get to sleep. I know i'm tired, but I just can't seem to get myself tired enough to actually go to sleep. This is the worst ...

It'll come, but the wait is horrible.

Have you tried kind of...meditating? Clearing your mind and listening to whatever's around you?

Well ... I did try laying in bed for about an hour and a half, really quietly ... ended up tossing and turning until I finally decided to try a new method.

I just got back from a very big job so... I'm taking a break!

Really? Well ... i'm sure you deserve the break. ^^; It's not often when I get a day or two off from my job, so I need to get all the rest I can.

Which, unfortunately, is not quite happening tonight ...

Well... We don't get a lot of work, so we have lots of off time. Sadly.

You got any idea why you can't sleep?

No. =/ I don't understand, it's usually so easy to get to sleep every night, with all the activity that goes on during the day ...

My friend (who lives with me) is trying so hard to help. =/ She's frustrated as well about this.

Anything different happen lately? Maybe you ate something weird? (I can't sleep if I had too many sweets.)

Well ... yeah, something happened, but I didn't have any problems sleeping until now, so I don't think that's got anything to do with it.

I'm having a night like that too...even though it's not my turn to be on watch, I can't sleep. I don't think anyone can, not even the animals...

Yeah, just...anxiety. My friends and I are all fugitives. We even have a dethroned king travelling with us now.

Well ... I'm not quite happy with Masaru. Still. So I haven't spoken with him in a few days ... Other than that, i'm all right, nothing out of the ordinary. Lalamon is doing well, I did finally manage to sleep on the night I posted this ... so she was less frustrated when I finally got some rest. ^^; She worries about me a little too much for her own good sometimes.

I'm sure they will. The anxiety just caught up with us that night, that's all. We're all feeling better now though, thanks. :)

Aw, she just cares for you, that's all. :D Even though the animals were restless that night for me too, they were still worried. Well, not Momo so much...when he gets restless he just gets cranky. But Appa and Bosco (the Earth King's bear) still seemed concerned.

Yeah, I know. ^^ She even admits it. I suppose that animals (and Digimon) just have a way of sensing those they care about's frustration or distress and respond to it in their own ways. Lalamon was trying everything possible to try and help me sleep that night .. though I would think she has an easier time understanding what i'm saying. ^^; She does answer back in the same language ...

Play solitaire. Read. Just do something to occupy yourself until you have to sleep?

A-haa, thinking does have that side effect sometimes ... I don't have much to think about tonight, though. That, and I was more than enough active throughout the course of the day ... so i'm kind of stumped as to why it's so hard to sleep. =/ My friend doesn't quite know what's going on either.

It happens occasionally, I guess. Or maybe because you were too active during the day, and your body hasn't had a chance to wind down yet.

That's a possibility. I've been drinking lots of tea, but that hasn't really resulted in anything ...

... Tea keeps you awake, you know. Sort of.

Oh, it's some of that herbal tea, you know, the stuff that's supposed to help you calm down enough to rest? Yeah .. normally it helps a bit, but tonight it's just not doing much. =/

Oh, those. ... I heard that warm milk helps. Not that I'll try that.

Tried that, too. Don't worry, I eventually did get some sleep. :)
