Whoever said that all the soda cans had to be round?

Where do all the left socks go in the dryer?

What makes the plants want to grow so high anyhow?

Why is the name of green "green"? What makes that word so special?


And, most importantly... I wonder how many questions I have to ask before you guys realize I'm not being at all serious?

Cans are round so they can roll off the assembly line. A square can would create many problems.

Cans are round, because the sides are formed of a single sheet of aluminium, and it is easiest to loop it into a cylinder.

Socks have neither a left nor right. One of the socks is probably missing because you forgot to put it in, or it has become caught up in another garment.

Plants grow tall because they exhibit positive phototropic behaviors.

The word green is closely related to the Old English word growan, "to grow", due to the nature of plants, which are primarily green.
