So this is Livejournal I see ...

Garnet had been telling me about this place for weeks. I had some time off from my regular swordplay practicing so I figured I would start out now. I'm not really sure what to start posting with, although Garnet said it would be good for me to post my thoughts and feelings. I - I've never really thought about my emotions too much. Everything's all for Lady Garnet. I fight. Protect. That's pretty much who I am. I live to serve the kingdom of Alexandria with pride.

The Lady also said It should do me well to meet some people. Perhaps she is right. Making new friends would relieve some of the stress from running an entire army. It would be nice to let my thoughts escape for a while and get to know other people.

Hello, all of you. My name's Beatrix. If you've not gathered yet, or are simply just slow, I'm the General of the army in Alexandria. It's, uhm, nice to meet you all, I suppose. I really am decently friendly, I'm just not sure how this Livejournal contraption works just yet. Give me time to get used to it, I'm new.

That's true. There are times in life when you realize you might actually be standing up for the wrong thing. Lady Garnet's mother was a prime example. Now that the Lady has taken over Alexandria herself, I can finally be at peace. She is a most loving ruler.

Is your eye ok?

What interesting conversation starter! Everyone is always fascinated with my eyepatch.

My eye is kind of scarred due to a bad blow from a sword in battle. I keep an eye patch on it because I believe that the scarring is quite unattractive.

Ooh... I've always thought that things like scars brought out character...

That they do, but one that forces to keep one eye closed isn't too pretty. I much like my eyepatch. It's kind of intriguing, as I like to see it.

My other scarrs are showed off quite nicely. It's just easier to have my eye covered up so I can get used to seeing out of my left.

A traveler who came to the temple before had an eyepatch, too... I never thought much about it before, but I guess it was pretty neat. It had a circle around where the eye would be, and I think there may have been some sort of design but his hair covered it...
I suppose if he doesn't have an eye he probably wouldn't know his hair was covering it, though...

I don't think he had a lot of scars, but he did have a gimmick arm... So his arm must have been cut off sometime...

Your Lady has a point, though. You can only ignore your feelings for so long; they've got ways of showing up at the worst possible moments.
