god hates me

So.

My company is sending me to New York to a convention this upcoming weekend. ihatethemihatethemihatethem.

What Broadway plays do you guys suggest? Also, I know New York is known for its night life, so I'm looking to head out one night with the girls I'm rooming with.

Also, I want to make it to Ellis Island, and I want to see the Statue of Liberty. Do you all think I should hit this stuff alone and get a 'real' experience, or find one of those private tour guides you can hire from the city so I dont get lost?

Oh, if it helps, this is where I'm staying.

Ha, I love your honesty. I guess you're right though, I don't need a guide. I pretty much know what areas to stay away from from hearsay.

The Statue was given to the Americans by France in 1886. It's supposed to represent a friendship that was made during the American Revolution. They helped America win. Ellis Island was the main entry point for immigrants in America entering the U.S. til 1954. It's all touristy stuff for me, since I'm not a citizen yet.

Well, the statue is pretty big, I think. Not sureh ow tall, but big enough to be kind of neat. Not moving there and shit no I'm not spending any time with Tommy.

I'm in the works of becoming one. It's a long process, but it's ben sped up considerably because of my job.

It is pretty busy. From my experience there, it's a lot like D.C. in that regard. I've only been to New York a few times. once to many, apparently
