He's the kind of man that would kill his own mother if it meant he would gain power from it somehow. He has no remorse for anything he's done or whoever he hurts along the way. Betrayed his entire squadron to be "test subjects" a few months before Raccoon City. Chris is one of the few survivors from that incident.
