Hey, kids. Geez, I have to run off to a meeting in London with the UNIT heads, and suddenly all hell breaks loose here. I've been warned about these virus things, but I've yet to actually experience one. Should I consider myself lucky? From what I've heard, they're to be avoided at all costs. What did this last one entail? I've heard it was something about love, but that's all I've gotten.

...alright. I have a question for you guys, and it's not exactly the happiest of topics. Have any of you ever lost any family members or teammates or friends or really just anyone that's close to you? How did you deal with it? I have a friend that's having a harder time with coping with a loss than I knew at first, and I'm really not sure what to do about it. This friend has been through a lot, you know? I just really want to do something to help. This really isn't my field of expertise, though. I'm much more of a "grin and bear it" kinda guy, right? I'm not sure how I can help out, but this person means a lot to me, so I'm open to suggestions.

Well, there's always Daniel Craig, but I thought you'd appreciate it more if I set the bar high.

Which is why I said Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan meant setting the bar higher.

Pierce is better, in my modest opinion.

...

Excuse me, I'm... positive that I'm insane, now. Just give me a moment, I'll rationalize this.

[identity profile] nobaybreezes.livejournal.com 2009-02-22 05:00 am (UTC)(link)
...No, I think that made it worse.

Let's try this again: Hi, I'm Lisa - and you are?

[identity profile] therealhades.livejournal.com 2009-02-22 05:01 am (UTC)(link)
I'll never understand, honestly.

Hades, a pleasure.

[identity profile] nobaybreezes.livejournal.com 2009-02-22 05:04 am (UTC)(link)
...Ah. So, the God of Death looks like Pierce Brosnan. Why is that strangely fitting?

I met your nephew. Charming kid, really.

It's because I'm ageless, metaphorically.

Ares? Isn't he? I used to love his younger years.

[identity profile] nobaybreezes.livejournal.com 2009-02-22 05:08 am (UTC)(link)
Oh. Well, that makes much more sense.

He threatened to blow up my Lexus.

[identity profile] therealhades.livejournal.com 2009-02-22 05:09 am (UTC)(link)
I think it's better this way.

Better than war with Iceland, I suppose.

[identity profile] nobaybreezes.livejournal.com 2009-02-22 05:10 am (UTC)(link)
Less awkward, that's for certain. I feel less like I should be asking for an autograph.

Has Iceland ever been involved in a war, even?

[identity profile] nobaybreezes.livejournal.com 2009-02-22 04:52 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, please, call me Lisa.

[identity profile] nobaybreezes.livejournal.com 2009-02-22 04:56 am (UTC)(link)
Honesty earns a lot of points with me, Captain. We'll see how long you can keep it up.

[identity profile] nobaybreezes.livejournal.com 2009-02-22 04:59 am (UTC)(link)
Now that's interesting. You're saying you're dishonest, but you're being honest by telling me so.

[identity profile] nobaybreezes.livejournal.com 2009-02-22 05:05 am (UTC)(link)
I think I can understand the difference you mean. We'll see, I guess.
