I've always found the progression of human invention to be utterly fascinating--the ways and lengths to which men will go to better their lives. Or in the very least, make them more convenient. And, gods, the lengths people take to make themselves famous is...well if it weren't so ridiculous I might find it endearing. The invention of the Internet is astounding, however, so I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised the drama caused by certain not-so-presidents that claim they've invented it? (And who didn't, by the way, I've looked into it.)
What I find even more interesting, however, is how you all use these things...these technologies to communicate with one another. Gods, you've pretty much put Hermes out of a job (I do wonder how he feels about that?), but the results are astounding. I can't even fathom (alright, so I could, but modern terms of phrase sound so much better) how many levels of time and space I'm communicating with at once here. It might be something worth writing home about.
