Such things I've seen amongst the people here. Such...depravity. Revolting.

So many bad, whats the word? Bad eggs. Bad seeds. Rotten to the core. The worlds would be better off without them.

Imagine, such people start with harmless annoyances as children. Maybe they grabbed too much candy at the store. Perhaps they hollered at the top of their lungs to get a toy. Or perhaps they were just mannerless twits. Such things are the day to day reality.

Don't you agree?

((Because who can say what side Wonka truly is on?

Edit: I've got to go. Replies will be later.))

Maybe. My little boy never does that, though. He's perfect in every way.

A good part of being an adult is about being 'rotten' to some extent.

Oh dear. While I do know some members can be quite a bit rude, I would not go so far as to call them bad eggs...

Most are mannerless twits because their parents were.

...Well, not everyone's completely bad. But you can't ask everyone to be perfect.

...actually, you can, but my point is no one's perfect.

Or maybe, a child was beaten to within an inch of his life by a drunken father every night while his mother watched and did nothing.

[identity profile] nospikesplz.livejournal.com 2009-02-25 03:41 am (UTC)(link)
I'm sorry you think that way.

But to me I think no one is completely bad. They could have bad habits, but you can always break those and make the better of people in time. And under circumstances it isn't their fault if they're bad, it could have been an outside force you know?

And if they're villains and such, or rude people, even they can be reformed if they realize their wrongs and admit to it.

Or that's my thought anyways.

Well, aren't you a non-judgemental person?

[identity profile] crstofkindness.livejournal.com 2009-02-25 06:30 am (UTC)(link)
Sometimes you need to give people a chance, even if you think they don't deserve one. Especially if you think they don't deserve one.

[identity profile] loreleid.livejournal.com 2009-02-25 10:34 am (UTC)(link)
It's not that simple. People can change, at least if they have the will to do so.

[anon]

[identity profile] nonesodangerous.livejournal.com 2009-02-25 12:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Spoilt children are hardly a threat to the world. People can grow out of bad habits, and grow into them. Children are still malleable - they can be fashioned into better things.

And it is true, there are some adults that are beyond help, and yes, the world would be better off without them. But unless you have both the means and the will to correct that, then the judgement you pronounce is both idle and useless, and leaves you looking similarly... unpleasant.

Finally, as an afterthought, you would do well to remember that with the right incentives, there can be good uses for "bad eggs".

Depravity's one way to put it. What do you suggest we do about it?

[identity profile] seventh-gospel.livejournal.com 2009-02-26 05:07 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe some just start out that way, because they were built to be bad.

Let me get back to ya on that.
