Well, I can agree that not everyone is in possession of a sailor crystal. However, I'm sure there have been people trying to develop the technology that do something similar; there's always someone out there that's trying to fix the defects to everything. Have you tried revisiting the place where the curse took place in the first place? Maybe there's an anecdote.
