I shall refrain from becoming angry until after you answer the question -

Did this event actually happen?

Ah. Then I am most sorry that you had to stumble upon such trash.

I suppose I am lucky - in my universe such things are far less titillating and there for 'enjoyable' to write.

There are few databases on the internet that are compatible with my worlds technology, unfortunately. But I may be able to find something...

Perhaps the story of the Rainbow King? Transposing it in full would be foolish and an insult to Sen Saji and do little justice to the original poetry. But here is the summary that I heard most recently in my travels:

You have heard, of course, of the Inquest - that land ruled by gods in the distant past. And you have heard, of course, of the wisest, kindest Inquestor of all - Hok'Ton Elloran. But before he was a Hok'Ton he was merely a Ton, one of a hundred lesser Inquestors, embarking upon his first Utopia Hunt.

At the time he did not know it was to be a hunt, for he had merely come to watch a war. But when he arrived one of the planets involved had disappeared! Allways a seeker of knowledge he set out, compassionately allowing a childsoldier named Saji to accompany him. When they found the missing planet they were greeted respectfully, but were unrecognized - despite Elloran's status as an Inquestor.

They escaped the home where they where staying, and were shocked to find that the whole world was populated with servo-corpses - zombies merely programed to act as if they were still alive. Saji urged Elloran to turn back, but the ever wise Elloran urged him on. After many trials they were able to reach the seat of the corruption - the Rainbow Palace at the height of the tallest mountain range. Inside they found a mad man who thought that by replacing the people with machines there would be a prefect world - one where there was not suffering and pain.

But Elloran ended the reign of the Rainbow King, silencing him forever and stripping him from his power.

And that is the story of the great Inquestor Ellorans first Hunt.

Tch. It translates rather poorly into English.

Indeed. Though I have found that most pain lasting pain is caused by adults and governments. But my universe may be rather different than yours.

Is it so hard to believe that humans remain basically the same despite 'growing up' and becoming more subtle?
