My my, how long it has been since I last came here. I do apologize for my absence, but work has left me quite busy~

I am seeing quite a few unfamiliar faces drifting about, so allow for me to introduce myself. I am Kuroudo Akabane, a Transporter. And while I am on the subject of work, I have a little question that can be answered by many of you. What are your ideal jobs, and should you have one, would you care to tell if it is what you are currently doing?

Yes. It's relaxing. I'm baking a cake right now, actually.

Oh my, how exciting. A cake for someone in particular?

No, just a cake. And I was thinking of putting together some truffles.

I am sure they shall be quite the delicacies. Is there any particular reason you did not choose to become a cook instead?

I don't have a formal education. I have plenty of experience but nothing I can use on a resume.

Ah, but experience is all that truly matters in the end, is it not? I am sure there are places that rely more on that then any formal education you may have had.

They wouldn't believe that I have the experience that I do at my age.

I already have a job anyway, and it pays for my family.

I should consider myself fortunate in that regard.

I'm the current leader of my organization. I'd rather be the family leader like my 'father'.

You must be quite the responsible young man.

I'm not exactly 'young' anymore, but I do have a lot of responsibilities to manage my group of morons.

Well, hey there Akabane. I'm kinda new here, and I don't believe that I've met you yet. The name's Captain Jack Harkness, nice to make your acquaintance.

The pleasure is mine, Captain Harkness. May I ask as to what you are the captain of?

Well, I was in the Royal Air Force as an American volunteer. Since then, I've moved onto bigger and better things, but I've gotten to keep my title, which is fabulous for me.

You say that you're a Transporter? What exactly does that entitle?

How fascinating~

It is quite simple in context. I am assigned to transport a given item from one location to another, while making sure that no harm comes to the object and that it isn't taken by another service.

Ah, my coworker's husband does that. He's the manager of a company called "Harwood's Lorry," and he manages all of the lorries and the business they do. They also have a nice little theme song--it's really very sweet.

Unfortunately, we do not have any theme songs to go along with our occupation, but it is still a very amusing job.

I was a waitress in a wonderful cafe some time ago. I do miss that place...

Have you considered becoming a waitress once more?

Ah, I would like that... perhaps sometime in the future I will.
