[BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE A SHIT-TON OF OTHER STUFF TO DO. STUPID ENABLING PLURK.]
[Marked for the attention of English students, but open to anyone.]
Those of you in my class, you do have that 1500-word essay due by the end of Tuesday next week. The handouts are in my office, if you've lost yours - remember, you can find the relevant Donne poetry in chapter 10 of the textbook. If you want to bring in any of his other work, feel free, just make sure to reference where you got it.
If anyone needs any help, you know where to find me. I know it's asking a lot in the run-up to Christmas, but look at it this way - at least it's not a five-hour lecture, right?
((ENGLIT STUDENTS IN MR DYLANDY'S CLASS: your essay is 'Compare any two or more of Donne's poems, focusing on the use of imagery and metaphor.'Specifically given because Donne is full of sexual imagery, so it's an interesting topic for the class.....and because he has a hope that JUST MAYBE Michael and Nena will actually do the work this time.
ETA: JUNIORS WORK: ESSAY, IT'S BEEN SET FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS NOW. SOPHOMORE WORK: WRITE UP DISCUSSION POINTS FOR A CLASS DEBATE ON WHO DESERVED THE INSPECTOR'S VISIT THE MOST IN 'AN INSPECTOR CALLS'. SENIORS: SHORT STORY - ONLY PROMPT IS 'SCIENCE FICTION'.))
