Question.

What do you do when your jackass of a friend gets drafted into an occult and stops talking to you and his dad doesn't do anything about it either?

What kind of group has your friend fallen in with Bella?

He says they're like... the peace keepers sort of. But kind of weird too. There's this one guy that's kind of older than them. And he's not going to college or anything or even got a job I think. But Jake says the reservation like... reveres him when they were upset with Jake's sister for not going to college to get married.

Is he the strongest of these peace keepers? It's not unusual for strong men to be valued over intelligent women.

Very much so. He's their leader.

It sounds like a backwards society.

It sounds messed up. And his dad's all for him hanging out with this group, even though he was scared to death of them just a few weeks ago.

It could be while he doesn't want him to fight whoever they consider an enemy, he is proud of him being within their ranks.

He sounds ecstatic about it. The whole reservation is on their side.

Do you have any idea who they are keeping peace from? These kind of groups always have an enemy.

You should think on it. If your friend is expected to fight, you should know his enemy. They could try to use you against him.

That's a good point. Hopefully it's nothing serious. It's just La Push after all...

La Push is a small town?

It's a reservation. Right outside of Forks.

Why would the need a group of protectors?

I just assumed it was in case any of the guys acted up down there.....

Is that common there?

Not common enough to warrant a peace keeping occult.

Then I believe my assessment was correct. They have an enemy.

But there's really nothing that dangerous in Forks or La Push...

It could be whatever enemy they have is not close by. They could have driven them away.

... He'll have to tell me about it. Because now I want to know what they're fighting.

Do you think you could get it from him?
