So, people of DDD, a few questions for you.
Do you have any sort of trademark? Something you say, do, or wear, are never seen without? If you do, what does it mean to you? Did you put thought into it or pick it up on a whim? Does it represent or remind you of something?

On a somewhat related note, is anyone here into symbolism?

That's not what I mean. Just because what you did was wrong doesn't mean what you were trying to do was wrong.

It doesn't. But you can't stop yourself from doing it again by ignoring why you did it in the first place. At least, I couldn't.

I'm not ignoring my reasons, but that does not stop me from repeating my choices if the situation called for it.

No. Even though my reasons would be different, and I wouldn't take it lightly as I was.

The only thing I know for sure is that you have to find the answers for yourself, and I definitely didn't find them by not trying.

Trying isn't something I need any lectures on, at least. Guess I'll see how it goes.

Maybe Uncle will show up here one day. He'll give you plenty of lectures, and then serve you tea.

Not liking tea never stopped him... But yeah. He's always stuck with me, as long as I let him.

Then I'm surprised he isn't here yet.

I'm a little surprised, too, but to be honest I don't know where he is right now. I... betrayed him a couple years ago, and he was imprisoned. When I eventually went to break him out, he'd already escaped on his own. I haven't seen him since.

Impressive, sounds like he's a force to be reckoned with all on his own. Hoping he pops up again?

He's known as the Dragon of the West. He's far from helpless. I just don't know what he'll say to me next time I do see him...

It has nothing to do with cancer, no. Every now and then, a bunch of community members will be affected by what's called a virus. That generally means strange, unexplainable things happen to them. It ranges from suddenly being 8 to being stuck to a particular person, or having memories of things that never actually happened.

This may or may not be worse than cancer, depending on the circumstances. But at least it generally doesn't last more than a few days.

A few days... Okay. I'm glad it didn't happen to me - the last thing the world needs right now is me trying to deliver Aang to my sister.

Agreed. I hope this one's going to pass me by too, I can do without... being me of any age before now.

Was it really that bad?

No. But I've changed quite a bit in the last few years, and I'd rather not relive any stage of that.
