I can. Recently gained a little advantage which probably won't last, but I wanted to see how much of a difference it makes.

[Either way, he does show up. Skin-tight leatherpants and t-shirt with a sword in his hand, and holy shit that scar... He looks around calmly, his posture relaxed but still hinting at that readiness that makes an experienced fighter. It seems he hasn't spotted Zuko yet.]

[Zuko brushes some branches out of the way and enters the clearing, dao slung over his shoulder. He spots Mello immediately and strides to him; of course he notices the scar, absently realizing it's on the same side as his, but he's dealt with his own too long to make any comment on it.]

[He hadn't expected the other to bring a sword as well, but he's certainly not complaining. Mello half turns to smirk at Zuko confidently.]

Hey. Your little group is okay with you sneaking off, I take it?

If they can't trust me by now, something like this won't make a difference, [said Zuko, rolling his eyes at Mello.] You want to tell me what your advantage is beforehand, or would that take the fun out of it?

[That had not been his point, but a small inclination of his head was the only reply, omitting the 'duh'.]

I'd give you details, but I don't know what exactly it entails yet. But for starters, let's say you won't need to hold back because it's just about impossible to injure me. [Calmly, Mello drew his sword.]

[raises his eyebrows, one hand coming up to draw his own. Then his other hand joins it, and it splits into matching dao] All right. If you say so.

[If Zuko has two weapons, that simply meant he would have to move fast enough to occupy them both. He is curious if he'll be able to, but wastes no time. A quick slash to the torso starts their sparring as Mello stands sideways to present as little room to be hit as possible. He can't quite keep the smile from his face.]

[Zuko watches him smile but, as always, takes fighting seriously. He's far too used to being inopportunely attacked to do anything but gracefully sidestep, facing him more head on before darting in with a quick jab.]

[Odd, how this sparring seemed to reverse their roles. But now it's Mello's turn to simply sidestep, jabbing motions are easy to avoid. At such close range, he raises his hand to jam the butt of his sword into Zuko's face instead of taking the time to back away. Not that he couldn't stop himself should it become necessary...]

[Satisfied that Mello seemed to know what he was doing at least at first, Zuko goes to deflect the high strike with one blade, the other coming in to close the gap in a tight slash.]

[With his sword meeting the other blade he shifts his weight to push the other away. Not by much, just enough to give him room to parry the incoming strike. He wouldn't let himself get hit just yet.]
