Good evening, community.

Does anyone else here know Matt Engarde? He is quite a talented actor from my world, and I was wondering if any of you have ever seen him on, say, YouTube or similar websites. He certainly is deserving of some attention.

I know that he frequents this community, so I thought I should post a small video to show my appreciation for him. A song, to be more precise. One that I dedicate to him with all my heart.

I find it simply breathtaking.

Indeed. Though not as recent as I suspected. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to give you a proper welcome. I do what I can to keep abreast of the comings and goings on the community, but my work does trump my time here. I hope you've had an eventful stay so far.

I would say my stay here so far has been overly eventful. Almost unpleasantly so.

Good to see the community is behaving true to form. It's a remarkable equalizer, isn't it? No one seems to be immune to its effects.

In your case, that's exceedingly impressive. But I think you'll find secrets of any sort are almost impossible to keep here. The more fervently guarded they are, the more likely they are to come out in time.

I can only hope that applies to people such as Matt Engarde as well.

As I said, no one is immune. His situation was exposed upon his arrival, and several of us are monitoring his activity. We don't intend to allow him any outlets to cause further damage.

I'm glad we could alleviate your concerns. Rest assured, Engarde will serve out his sentence. I and the prison system will make sure of that. There's no need for you to involve yourself further.

You must do nothing. What you do from this point is your own choice. Don't make the mistake of convincing yourself it isn't.

So long as he's serving his sentence, Engarde is under government protection. If and when he's released, protection will still be available to him, as it would be for any other. Any action you take against him will be added to the extensive list of crimes you'll eventually be made to answer for.

You misunderstand me, de Killer. There's no argument here. I'm aware that reason isn't likely to have much of an effect on your final decision. I'm merely...reiterating the facts of the situation for you.

I see. You should know I am well aware of the facts, though.

Perhaps not aware enough, if you're still willing to follow this course of action.

I am a man of my word. I think you will recall admitting to this yourself, if you think back to Mr. Engarde's trial.

And you consider your word to be of more value than a man's life? I suppose this shouldn't surprise me.

Matt Engarde brought this upon himself.

There's no question the original infringement was his. Still, the responsibility for how that slight is dealt with will lie solely on your head. When you do face justice, any claims of provocation won't help your case.

Mr. Prosecutor, if I were one to worry about facing justice, I would not be in this line of work, would I?

Perhaps not, but I suspect you'll worry about it more when it finally comes to pass.

Regardless, I've made my point. There are consequences for your crimes, and I'm not the type of man who can stand idly by while you enact them. The police force and I will do all that's in our power to prevent you from claiming yet another victim.
