I am Ansem, called, by turns, the Seeker of Darkness, Devourer of Worlds, Son of the Shadow, etc. or - if you are Riku - 'go away'.

I care little for titles but for the first one; the others are poetic twaddle at best. The last one amuses me as I retain a soft spot for its origin.

If anyone has, by chance, come upon any of my research notes, I would be very grateful to the one who returned them. I will offer an appropriate reward. (And before anyone gets clever - I do not lie. I am many things, true, but no liar.)

What they don't realise is that calling someone 'monster' awakes in the heart a desire to live up to that name.

That is so true! If someone calls you a bad name, it makes you start thinking about whether you really do live up to it!
