[It cuts off as Owen pulls away and Jack gives him a brotherly sort of pat on the shoulder, moving past him.]

((OOC: And this concludes Owen's canon move! For those interested, Jack is forgiving Owen for causing a mutiny, shooting him in the head, opening the Rift and releasing Abbadon, who Jack has to let kill him probably a thousand times before it dies, leaving Jack dead for three days. This video follows all that. Y-eah. Needless to say, Owen could use some woobie loving.

It's a bit pathetic on my part for wanting to talk to you over, I don't know, Elektra, since I think she's a bit less capable of making me feel like the prick I am, but. I saw somebody who I thought was gone forever, and she told me to open this Rift we have in Cardiff - a tear in space and time, if you can believe it, where things fall through all the time. She said if I did it, I could get her back. Save her from the Rift.

So I did. After I convinced everybody, even Ianto, for God's sake, to mutiny against Jack and shot him in the head. But apparently he can't die - would've been nice to know that, so I wouldn'tve worried so much. But opening the Rift, it just caused more problems, unleashed unspeakable evil, etc. etc. etc.. And so Jack had to sacrifice himself more times than I can count to save the world, and I thought I'd killed him. Really, really killed him. But he's back now. And I don't know what to do.

You've got the most sense of us all, so I figure if I'm going to get harangued by anybody, it should be you. God help me, though, I'm not sure I'd be able to say any of that to anybody else.

That's the problem, Candy. You don't know the real, honest to God risks of opening the Rift. You don't know what it unleashed, what could have happened if Jack hadn't stepped in and saved us all.

Does it matter if I know the full risks or not? I'd take any chance I could to save someone I love too.
