I'm going to be sick for the memorial. This happens every time I go on an airship. I wish I could fix it. I don't want to embarrass Sister or the Lady-Saint.

Community, do you know what I should do? This is really important. I don't want to mess up.

It's practically impossible to embarrass Li the Holy Madonna.

[... grudgingly, because EW AGREEING WITH ZUKO]

Ginger tea works well for that sort of thing.

Mm. I've been in bed for a couple days with a fever. They're probably going to move me to the clinic to keep an eye on me.

If it's motion sickness, try ginger tea.

Don't be so nervous and you won't embarrass anyone.

I remember my uncle swearing by it when we were on that ferry... He's usually right about tea.

That's the last thing I need! More tea! I get enough about it in the letters Uncle sends back. He owns a tea shop in Ba Sing Se.

Fear not, when I first stepped on an Imperial brigade, I too suffered as you did. Try chewing fresh ginger or perhaps resting before your appearance.

Oh, you should believe it. We are not born adapted for every environment.

Drink some warm tea or coffee and take lots of deep breaths!

[identity profile] gluttonforpasta.livejournal.com 2011-03-09 12:22 am (UTC)(link)
It will! Just make sure you breathe in and out reeeeeal slow and deep, and you'll definitely relax!

I have to agree with the others on here. Ginger is a wonderful method for controlling motion sickness.
