[text] everyone knows the avenue q song
Since that virus sort of did a number on some of us, I wanted to kind of bring up something and hopefully people will treat the topic with respect and all that.
Um, lately I've noticed that viruses have been making it hard for some of us to accidentally out ourselves, either because we're scared or because we feel like we've gotta for some reason. It happened to me a little while ago and I know it happened at least twice this time around, so I wanted to say something to anyone who's afraid of this happening, or who's had it happened or anything like that.
The community is one of the best places to be open on. I never was at high school because that's not how things are really done there and honestly I'm not sure if it's how things are done here in NYC either, but I don't think it's embarrassing any more. And I don't think you guys should either. I know it's weird and since I'm from a Disney universe it's not really exactly the same for me as it is for others, but I don't think it's anything to be ashamed of (and I really never have so don't think I'm like making some kinda redemption post or something), and even if you don't tell your friends and family, it's okay to accept it about yourself.
You know? Like, I'm definitely not going to open up and tell anyone just out of the blue (IDK if people back home would even understand it? Disney's kind of weird), but still. It might make me weird in my universe but I know it definitely doesn't make you weird in yours. And it's not even that weird here in NYC in a Disney universe, so you know it can't be that weird in yours! :)
I just thought you guys should know, you know? That it's okay. And uh, if you want, I can give you my number and you can text me any time to talk about it. My name's Ryan, by the way.

That's a really hard spot to be in. Um...
You have to do what's right for you, though. Just remember that. It might be what your dad wants but that doesn't mean you have to do it, if it doesn't feel right.
