01 Acromion [Intro, Accidental Video]
[There’s a pale girl with her back turned to the screen; so white is her skin that it seems to glow in contrast to the dark world surrounding her. She stands in front of a pool of black water, briefly touching one of the spiny horns on her head like she so often does when thinking.
Slowly, she reaches for one of her modestly heeled pumps and removes it. The shoe dissolves into shadow and mist as if it had never existed. She does the same for the other.
She slips a sleeve down a bony shoulder and then peels the wispy fabric off a thin arm. Despite being mostly bone and tendon, she carries herself and her motions elegantly.
The girl is undressing, probably to either swim or bathe. And she obviously doesn’t know she is being recorded. Unless video or voice is used, she might not notice anyone trying to stop (or encourage) her.]

[He frowns at the escape part but all he can honestly offer her is a shrug. He doesn't know.]
I'm from Port Royal. *pause* The year 1748. You have me at a disadvantage, Milady. May I ask Your name?

not my world.

Dead.
Master.

[Dead Master...okay his father was called Boostrap. Not that odd of a name after all.]
It's a pleasure to know you Dead Master.
[He thinks it's a title.]

I wish to see.
[And look, she seems to soften a little.]
William Turner.
[She thinks his name is fun to say. That's why she keeps repeating it.]

[He turns his little metal disc around, tilted so that the sun isn't show. No use blinding the girl. Have a nice view of the Caribbean ocean and an Island waaaay off in the distance.
He hasn't met Tia Dalm yet so...there's no real creepy feeling to having his name said continuously.]
Thank you, milady.

my.
It is...
[And she wants to say something like 'pretty' or 'beautiful', but those words are mysterious and strange on her tongue.]
...different. [It is a compliment.]

It's a world all her own.

Like her eyes.
And green.

[He hears the part about eyes but he doesn't pry. A small smile does curve his lips for a moment.]

And not dead.
Like the ones here.

No...she's very much alive and of her own will.
[He turns back to look at her.]
You've an affinity for the sea as well?

[And she turns her own 'camera' to the side, revealing a still sea of dark water. There is virtually no horizon, for the edge of the ocean blends directly into the night sky; the only indication that there is water is by how the surface feebly reflects the moonlight.]
or blue and flowing.
[She looks back at his world.]

Her words though...]
Sounds like the ocean to me. Always changing, always the same.

Thank you, milady. Those are kind words.
