[Edward's hotel room looks something like a tornado struck it. On the table, the dresser and the floor are piles of books. Between the piles of books are pages of notes, scattered here and there. On the bed are newspapers, piled up and spread out, the pages yellowed, so they aren't recent. Ed is lying on his back on the bed, across the width, scanning through a paper.
He looks up after a moment and tilts his head.]
I have a question for you guys. How accurate is your news reported in your world? How accurate are your history books?
[He turns a page.] Fuck, it's like they think we're stupid...

[Ed looks around the room] A tiny bit overboard. But then I got to thinking which meant I had to get more books from the library...
[He pouts] Do you know they limit you at a hundred? Only a hundred!

You seemed unsure about the whole college thing. Have you considered going right into the work force or an apprenticeship and using your funds to start your own personal library? It sounds like you're more interested in that than traditional academia.

But I know why. It's because of those - FAIRIES! Not that they're listen to me on that but that's besides the point.
History, is another matter for all the years, I've taught history, I can't say I was there personally when the Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence but I can say for the events I have been around for they're recorded - ACCURATELY!
But in a world where magic and fairies actually exist. WHO CARES ABOUT HISTORY?! Why... If they wanted too fairies could chance history.

I don't know about these fairies, but I have to learn this boring stuff so I can go to university.

There's that and our old leader President Nixon and the Watergate scandal. WHICH HAPPENED! I was a teenager.
Recorded in history textbooks, at least what's known of it.
...Really? There's three zomming around this 'blogsite'
Well.. It's not all bad to learn your history. However, you should value your education. Why if it hadn't been for my education, I wouldn't been able to build any of my gadgets.
