I get to look at the victim's body today. Then we'll see what this case is really about.

That's not what I'm here to say, though. I think time might be going more slowly for me in relation to the rest of the community - for me, it's only been a week or so since I joined. Is that a common occurrence?

If that's the case, then I guess I have more free time to hang out than I thought I'd have. Somebody wanted to show off Con Air... John, right? I'm up for it.

It only seems like a week? I'm not sure if it's common but it seems like it's been much longer.

Then I understand why it would be nice to visit other worlds, especially if you're working on something hard.

It's very important.

What is Con Air?

That seems so far away.

I hope you enjoy it.

I had never thought about that far into the future until I came here. I never realized how many more things were going to be made.

It's not very futuristic. We have telephones and trains and a few movies but nothing like the video my book can use.

You're welcome to visit any time you'd like.

Hm. Well, the community does seem to do strange things with time, so I suppose it's not really out of the question.

It certainly opens things up. Sadly, as far as I can tell the Disc matches up fairly well with the community at large, so there's only so long I can be away.

Yes, the Discworld. And before you ask, it's called that because it's flat.

[identity profile] red-army-btrfly.livejournal.com 2011-08-08 04:14 pm (UTC)(link)
No, of course not. That would be silly. It's got a giant mountain.

[identity profile] red-army-btrfly.livejournal.com 2011-08-08 06:47 pm (UTC)(link)
But spinning tops wouldn't spin if they were flat, and the Disc still does. I suppose the elephants might have something to do with it.

[identity profile] red-army-btrfly.livejournal.com 2011-08-08 06:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes. The Disc travels through space on the backs of four elephants, that stand on the back of a giant turtle.
