day dream virus

[Candy doesn't day dream as much anymore. Instead she focuses on memories. Reliving scenes she's witness that are too beautiful for her mind to comprehend that she makes them into her daydreams.

The clouds before the sea, the Deaux-Deaux that plucked her from the waters and carried her to safety, the fisherman at Yebba Dim Day carrying in their catch, the moth that Shape tried to steal her away on, the boy who saved her from being in Carrion's grasp.

Then there was the breathtaking princess as she breathed life into the world that didn't exist before. All of the places that she's witnessed, all of the creatures that exist. All of it existing on all the different islands of the Abarat that represent the hours of the day. Even the Twenty-Fifth Hour that stood for time outside of time.

It was all the things she'd seen but could never quite get out of her head anymore.

It isn't until a vision appears in her mind that she doesn't recognize that Candy finally jolts awake, ending her preview of the Abarat for DDD.]
