We figured out why she killed this one guy. There was another guy she was trying to get, but we interrupted her. At the time we didn't know why she had done this. We interrupted something we shouldn't have.

Our friend has been working on a case, that involved chasing after these guys carrying an airborne virus. The only way to stop them was to kill them and remove the infected cartilage. When we tried to stop her from killing this one guy...we messed up her case allowing him to run off.

We tried to locate our missing friend and stop her from getting into trouble. Only we caused more trouble for her instead of helping her.
