It could be as young as 7 for some but I'd say the average would be about 13 for that. I ended up at 15.

My apologies if you would have preferred to get an answer from one of your peers, but I can tell you that the average age for the beginning of puberty in girls is twelve or thirteen. I do believe this same average has been going down over the years, though.
