So, from what you've said so far, I can pretty much figure out that you're somehow in love with Beatrice despite that she pretty much killed your family and used their deaths to torture you, including letting you get eaten alive by goats and things, because she wanted to tell you something and saying "Oh by the way" would've been too easy.

If she couldn't manage on her own after six years, then that's her fault. Battler, just because you could've done things differently to prevent something you didn't know about doesn't make it your fault. You can only try to get better, you can't change the past. It is my fault. I'm stubborn about this, I'm not about to back down. My sin prevented me from returning and stopping this from even happening. If I wasn't such a fool and ran off as soon as things got tough with my dad, none of this would have happened.

So she just puts one arm around his shoulders and hugs him back. [He just continues to sob on her shoulder for a bit. This was pathetic, he definitely thought that he was acting like some kind of idiot. But... he hadn't had a cry about this just yet- and he felt the need to. His family was dead, there was no way to escape this game, and the one person who he fell in love with doesn't even remember their times together.

After a few more moments, Battler's crying subsided. He still Had his head on her shoulder though, but at least he wasn't sobbing as much as before.]
