[Have a small, fluffy puppy staring at you, community.

The dog seems confused, turning itself around in circles before looking at the book that connects him to the community. He lets out a little yip, trying to draw someone's attention and pawing at the pages.

If you look behind him, you might recognize Dumbledore's house, looking the same as ever.]

Pika?

[The dog tilts his head curiously and lets out a curious yip.]

Piii chuuuu chuuuuurrrt. [I'm Kurt.]

[The dog lets out a little yip, raising his paw as if to say hello]

[He waves and then he tries to write.]

[The dog nods, glad to be understood. He scratches at the book and writes a very sloppy 'yes'.]

[Kurt presses a few more keys.]

Naem?

[It takes a while, but the dog manages to messily scratch an 'A', 'L', 'B', 'U', and 'S' into the pages.]

[A surprised face (for a Picaku)]

oh hi. Are u in a safe plce?

[The dog nods, wagging his tail. He tries to scrawl the word 'Home' into the book, though he has some trouble.]

[It takes Kurt a bit but he gets it.]

[The dog nods, wagging his tail even more. He doesn't have to worry in his own house.]

[staring]

.... When did Albus get a dog?

[When Gellert appears, the dog gets more frantic, yipping wildly and wagging his tail, trying to call for attention.]

I... should come over?

[The dog is nodding as best he can, still wagging his tail frantically]

[Gellert recognises the house, at least, so he heads over to it.]

Hello....? Albus?

[The dog immediately runs up to him, looking excited. He yips at Gellert while wagging his tail, pawing at his feet.]

[He's surprised since fluffy animals usually do growl at him.]

Well, hello there... Where's Albus?

[The dog gets even more frantic, pawing at Gellert's ankle while looking up at him, wagging his tail and trying to get him to understand.]

[He had suspected it but the dog's behaviour was pretty clear.]

It's you, isn't it?

[He tries to pick him up.]

There seem to many viruses going round...

[The dog makes a nodding motion, clearly pleased at being understood. He moves into Gellert's hands, letting himself be picked up easily.]

[Some residue of the last virus makes Gellert give him an impulsive hug.]

So are you hungry? You want to play?

[He enjoys the hug, curling up towards Gellert's chest when he does. At Gellert's question, he shakes his head -- mostly, he was worried about being left to wander the floor of his house alone and unheeded.]

Hmm. Well, I supppose this will wear off eventually.

[The dog nods, before leaning up to lick Gellert's face, teasing him.]

[He laughs.] Well, you are affectionate, aren't you!

[The dog makes a noise that would almost be a chuckle if he had a human's vocal cords. He responds by licking Gellert's face again, this time more deliberately.]

[Gellert laughs again.]

You know, you'd be the first dog to do that to me. Usually it's all growls and barks.

[He tilts his head, because why on earth would other dogs dislike Gellert? No matter. Instead, he curls up towards Gellert, looking very content to be in his arms.]

[He pets him a little, although this feels very strange to him on so many levels. He's more fond of birds. And this is Albus... So that's weird to think about.]

Have your family seen you yet? Bark once for no. Twice for yes.

[The dog shakes his head before barking once. No one's seen him, which is why he's glad Gellert came.]

Possibly better that they don't.

Your brother might blame me.

[The dog makes a small, upset noise, as if refuting his brother in this hypothetical scenario. It wasn't like Gellert just went around turning him into things every day. Or that he would refuse to change Albus back once he had.]

You don't think so? He hates me, I think.

[Albus makes a small, unhappy noise before curling a little closer to Gellert -- as if to say that while his brother might think whatever he liked, it didn't sway Albus' opinion in the least.]

He does. But that's not your fault.

[Albus is quiet at that, because he unfortunately suspects it's true. But he leans the side of his head against Gellert lightly -- even if Aberforth dislikes him, Albus still trusted him.]
