[The video, clearly unintentional, comes into focus to reveal a bathroom, Rachel-- dressed in nothing but a bedsheet, clumsily wrapped around herself-- slamming the door shut and locking it as harsh, raw sobs wrack her as she pounds tiny fists against the door before collapsing into a sobbing mess of a pile, digging the heels of her hands into her eyes.

From somewhere outside the small bathroom, one can hear a door slam rather loudly as Rachel's wails get more desperate.

She stays like that for a while before clumsily picking herself up, eyes bloodshot and puffy, staring at herself in the mirror in horror before she starts to rain assault down on the mirror, shattering viciously as small rivulets of blood trail down from the cuts on the sides of her hands before the video feed cuts off.]


[ooc: what you're witnessing is the very obvious fallout from the grabbag virus that I should have put up on Sunday and then... didn't. but I figured it needed to be up before glee tonight, so. it takes place at Jesse's apartment, just fyi! replies will come 2-3 hours later. IT'S A MIRACLE THAT SHEET IS STAYING UP, HUH.]

[Rachel didn't expect to find Kurt in her room when she got there, but apparently her dads were kind enough to let him in. She was hoping just to take a nap, but, well. She drops her bag, moving to sit on the bed beside him, the inflection on her face remaining expressionless. At least her hands are bandaged.] Hi.

[Watching this, seeing her fall apart rather than just hearing it, is a shock. He feels like he's been punched in the gut, in addition to the way he's felt like his heart was ripped out earlier. None of this is fair.]

[Rachel just kind of sags against him, pulling her arms around him as she buries her face in his shoulder, shaking her head, her words just whispered, clearly straining against tears.] It... it was just a virus.

[Admittedly Sam saw this coming because as happy as he was to hear they'd turned their love triangle into a threesome, which seemed to make Rachel happier than he'd ever seen her, it just didn't make sense to him and smelled fishy... He just didn't expect to see all that blood and his face pales with worry when the video cuts off at the point it does.]
