[Hello community. You get to be treated to a young man who is snacking on chips at the moment. In fact, he has one hanging from his mouth when he starts blinking and leaning forward to stare at the computer.]

[He pops the chip the rest of the way in his mouth and starts typing rapidly as he chews on it, frowning after he swallows it.]

That's not right. I'm not playing a game with ducks on it. There are supposed to be aliens...

[He tilts his head to the side a bit as he keeps trying to figure this out.]

To save everyone, yes. [But he's sitting there playing computer games. So clearly good wins.]

He has to want to live! He has to!

Is it safe to assume he hasn't given his consent?

He's one of us, Touma. Would you hesitate if it were me, or Shuu, or Ryo? What if it were Seiji?

I don't logically see how breaking down timelines is wise, Shin. It could cause damage we cannot comprehend.

Answer the question, Touma. If it were Seiji, would you say that?

If it were Seiji, would he be happy with me if I did?

Seiji would give his life for this cause, like any of us. But I think he'd rather live.

It's human nature to wish to live instead.

It's not one or the other, Touma, we can fix this. We can save him, and protect the timeline.

You are talking as if there is a problem to be found. Not only that but you are deciding a man's fate without consulting him about what he wishes to happen.
