What do you do if, your whole life you've believed this one thing and then one day... you find out it was all a lie? That person you've always been super proud of actually wasn't so great?

I don't know how I'm supposed to get over this.

You are your own person, and already did great things. Why it couldn't be better in the future?

What if I end up like him, though? I already don't have any plans for the future, I haven't got anything I can work toward. What if I turn out to be just as useless as him?

You are not your parents Finn, their lives don't have to define yours. Finn, you don't have to be anybody but yourself and you aren’t useless. We are eighteen, we can make new plans.
