I had a dream last night, I think. We were all at some sort of party. There were strangers there, strangers that I spoke to through a computer beforehand.

It was a very beautiful party, a ball or something. Even I looked wonderful. I haven't scrubbed up properly since...

Strangers implies we've never met or talked. I like to think we're more like--acquaintances! Yeah, that! The kind of friends who don't share their deep secrets but can talk in the elevator without feeling awkward!

It's like one in that--you know!--metaphorical way. Yeah, we're all trapped in an elevator for such a long period of time that we have to talk to each other to keep from going mad! Just pretend you're in an elevator although you clearly aren't because you'd have arrived at your destination by now and left. So no working elevators...only a broken one.
