How many of you have spent the past few days in a haze of love?
If you ask me, it is the most beautiful of concept, from what I've learned from this 'holiday'.
The spirit of love- what more could you ask for? Considering Love can be translated in many different ways... There is nothing more otherworldly, than love. It can bring you everything, and destroy everything as well.

However ... if you think of the 'holiday' as christmas.. it makes more sense now, doesn't it?

Now think of Valentine's day. A day to give gifts to ones special to your heart. That's... stupid? Idiotic madness. However both days are far cries from which they were 'created'.
If you will- take a look at the time around these holidays- seems to be what should be important. The love you should hold in your heart year round. Not just one day. But yet christmas is beautiful, and valentine's is... a monstrosity perhaps.
So cried the people.

But I am from a place that celebrates neither, and have not the luxury of selfish love, so I find it difficult to scoff at those who celebrate the joy of their selfishness.

I am incapable of love. Therefore I am incapable of understanding it on the level of those who are not.
