[Ah, the calligraphy is back]

It is not my place to question my lord and master's will. I am certain that when he took the captives' powers for his sword and had me deliver it to the worthless General Dala it was part of a plan I am not to be made privy to.

Of course, had I had been the one to wield that sword, despite it being nearly as long as I am tall, the remaining Troopers would no longer be a nuisance to us. Still, it did rid us of that moronic general in a way that did not raise his suspicions, so the continued existence of the two is an acceptable side effect.

The spirit wizard Badamon has been summoned, so I hear. Perhaps he will have a workable plan to accomplish our goals.

What's Badamon's specialty?

The darker magics, primarially. As one of the youja spirits he is capable of possession as well, though it is a skill rarely used.

What qualifies as dark magic? And what can he possess?

The ones not associated with the light, of course. Pain, destruction, control of the mind, aspects such as that. And... people, I should assume, as posession of plants and beasts of burden would hardly be useful.

How does he possess them?

Quite well! We have rid ourselves of an incompetent and the three captured Troopers have been drained of their energy to either power Dala's sword or to foolishly assist their two friends.

He was never one of our more intelligent soilders, and complacency quickly set in after his elevation upon the deaths of his superiors.

We have neither the time nor the resources to further waste on incompetence. It is my opinion that we wasted too much to begin with.

He was useless, used his title inappropriately, and was a drain on Arago-sama's plans for domination of the human world. We removed the diseased branch from the tree, nothing more.

The same way that a tree or an animal isn't a person. He was a youja, a demon, as expendible as an insect and not nearly as useful.

A bit of advice. Do not make sweeping generalzations about a world you have no knowledge of. He was not a person, he was useless, needless, and a constant drain of soilders, resources, and time. We are better without him.
