[Ah, the calligraphy is back]
It is not my place to question my lord and master's will. I am certain that when he took the captives' powers for his sword and had me deliver it to the worthless General Dala it was part of a plan I am not to be made privy to.
Of course, had I had been the one to wield that sword, despite it being nearly as long as I am tall, the remaining Troopers would no longer be a nuisance to us. Still, it did rid us of that moronic general in a way that did not raise his suspicions, so the continued existence of the two is an acceptable side effect.
The spirit wizard Badamon has been summoned, so I hear. Perhaps he will have a workable plan to accomplish our goals.

So who's this General Dala and why do you seem to hate him so much?
no subject
He was one of our generals, a foolish, incompetent solider who rose to his rank through the deaths of his superiors, never once earning his position and yet took advantage of all the benefits that the position gave. He drained our resources, used his soldiers recklessly, and contributed little if anything to the greater conquest.

So all in all, he was every army's worst nightmare.

He chose to use General Dala?! Of all the people he could have resorted to...
[Shuten begins to ponder over this strange decision. The news about Badomon's involvement worried him the most.]
