Haha, I'm not sure that they actually tell the future. They come with dessert, that's all. I suppose they're a human novelty of sorts, but it still made me happy to receive it.

That's how I feel too. I feel as if I'm lucky just to have gotten it at all; it was nice enough that it cheered me up after a bad day.

Yes, to some extent. I've experienced some... I guess you could call them "strange coincidences" in my world, that have made me believe.

Prophecies are tricky things. A lot of them are frauds. On the other hand, my life has so many weird coincidences it feels like a comedy sometimes, so even a fake prophecy might come true. So I'm not really in a position to say either way.

It's always nice when you get one that can cheer you up, though.

I don't think something like this could be counted as a fraud. It was only something with the dessert, after all. But it did cheer me up a lot, so I'm glad.
