As much as I hate to admit it…I’m lost on what to do. My attempts to save Lady Kayura have failed and its clear Kaosu doesn’t want her to die. He believes there’s still hope for her. I think there’s something more to Lady Kayura… aside from her blind faith to Arago and her soldier’s pride. Arago appears to have a stronger hold on her then he did on my fellow masho and myself.

The only success was freeing the rest of the troopers. However, they are looking to me for answers. I see disbelief in their eyes, which they have every right to do so. How can I help them when I don’t even know what to do? I often wonder if this was the right thing to do. I was foolish to take on someone’s role that I don’t even know anything about.

I was always the fighter, not a guide. I don’t like waiting around for answers and all this meditation…doesn’t seem to help. I also don’t want to rush into things blindly…. One false step could cost us everything we’ve gained.

Yes, I realize she can see this. Appearances can be deceiving. Then again, you are also not part of the war.

Shin.... Kaosu isn't giving me answers. I know we have the Jewel of Life and it will help bring about Arago's downfall. Yet, how do we use it? How do we free Lady Kayura? We can't keep hiding forever in enemy territory. I know your friends are getting restless.

The point of meditating is to clear your mind, and bring you peace. Once you do that, the answers should come.

There will be a way to fix all this. Find solace in that, and then your mind will be clear.
