[Accidental Video]

[The video turned on. It seems to be outside and late at night. Clouds seem to cover what little moonlight there was. There are various bodies strewn about the side of a road. If one looks close, streaks of blood can be seen on their backs in the form of a J. Off to the side is an over turned vehicle that has smoke coming out of it. The video then focused on a tall figure dressed in a black trench coat. With a gloved hand the figure placed a wide brimmed hat on his head.]

“What a pity, this was starting to get a little interesting. I had hoped that you would be a worthy fight…Tch. It’s always the same.”

[He then stepped over to one of the bodies and grabbed a heavy briefcase from the hand of a limp form.]

“I’m sure it’s owner will be happy to receive this. After all, it is my job to make sure it safely arrives at it destination.”

[There’s a soft chuckle before the video feed ends.]

Now, Lady Poison, I can't let my reputation be ruined. If I were to let the weak ones get away...they'll think they have won. How fast do you think word will have spread that Dr.Jackal had shown mercy? What do you think will happen next?

You'd just have to knock more of them out, that's all. Wouldn't that be a more interesting challenge?

It wouldn't be a real challenge.

[Shrug.]

Anyway, this mission brings me back to the city. I'll be there for a few days.

Yes, and it seems to be pretty promising! The Get Backers appeared to not be interested.

...ergh. I've heard of him. He's given the GetBackers a run for their money.

But if he breaths, then he's still susceptible to perfumes.

He's the reason why they turned down the case. I, myself, have been hoping for some time to run into him.

We'll find a flaw that they overlooked.

That's just like you. I just hope we survive and satisfy our client.

We'll do just fine, Lady Poison. I look forward to the lovely challenge this will bring.

Heh. I look forward to seeing Mr. Undead kick your butt. That would satisfy the both of us, right?

[There's a slight twitch of his hand and Akabane releases a scalpel. He then turns around and throws it into one of the corpses. It was more of a warning toward Himiko that he was not amused by her comment.]

I've been doing my research on our undead friend. The Get Backers have a tendency...to not fully think things through and rely on improvising more.

I'm quite confident that we can handle this task.

[She ignores his actions...at least she doesn't comment on them. But her face hardens and she returns back to business rather than jibes.]

That does describe them pretty well. Do you think you can get through his skin? He was able to take a lightning bolt...perhaps I should increase the dosage on most of my perfumes.
