Defining Characteristics:
Huge loops that you can run on are common, the currency we use is gold rings as gold is common and very cheap, we have a total of nine countries and no "micro-nations", space works kinda weird where I'm from because everyone except humans can breathe in space. Our scientists have yet to figure out why. We also have Chaos Emeralds that are gems of power that very powerful and can create either a miracle or destruction depending on who's using them. That's about it.

Name: I can give you the name that I go by - Doc Scratch.
Country/World: The green moon of Alternia, a planet which resides in a universe separate from Earth.
Time/Year: Our time-keeping system differs from yours and, in fact, does not even rely on years. Not that it matters at this point.
Defining Characteristics: This universe used to be largely dominated by the troll race, until it went practically extinct. Society on the planet that I oversee has been rebuilt, however, by members of another race.

Defining Characteristics: How exhaustive should this be? I've noticed a great many- the common existence of supernaturals (vampires, werewolves, and ghosts) and their acceptance in Britain and the aethersphere seem to be the most significant.

And there's Shizu-chan who's, like, freakishly strong, and there are awesome manga stores and Russia Sushi, which is run by actual Russians and Simon, the guy who advertises for them...but that's more defining characters, huh? Ikebukuro itself is kinda non-descript and normal

Country/World: Everyone here calls it Nippon, but I learned that others call it 'Japan'. [ 'Nippon'=a more formal way of saying Nihon, or Japan, in Japanese. Okami's translation is just weird like that. ]

There's no real date here. 2010ish for the living, I think? It's been a while since I was there.
Defining Characteristics:
Afterlife. Can make item parts from memory out of dirt (atomic restructuring), residents can't die again on account of already being dead, there is no such thing as illness and therefore there is no hospital. Located at a boarding school. There is a heavily forested area, mountains, and a river available for exploration as well as an underground area that is the territory of Guild, a sublet of the Shinda Sekai Sensen-- a rebellion group against the God of this world lead by Yuri Nakamura.

About Earth-Medieval technology level, though it's advancing slowly (gunpowder is a recent invention). Magic is prevalent, divided into three categories (White, Black, Shamanic). Several primary races, including humans, mazoku (aligned with chaos, somewhat like other worlds' demons), ryuzoku (sentient dragons; there are less intelligent, animalistic dragons as well), and a miscellaneous group of beastmen and goblins and suchlike. I can go into detailed cosmology and magical classification if you want, but this is already getting long.

Not anymore. Xelloss and Lina have each been here three times (not always concurrently), Gourry and Filia each once. Mostly concurrent with me, but Gourry and one instance of Lina connected from several years in my past once.

Uh... I don't really have a home world. Right now I'm at the Olympus Coliseum, but I'm sort of travelling around a whole bunch of worlds.
Time/Year: It's been about three years or so since the keyblade was rediscovered, I think? Sorry... I can't give you a better reference than that.
Defining Characteristics: From what I can see, my "world's" more like a group of different, smaller worlds. ... I think people from here are some of the only ones who knew about worldhopping and other worlds before we found the community, too.
