Anyways...is there some sort of instruction manual for these? What are we actually supposed to use them for? Some kind of secret mission? For fun? [She scratches her head.] Maybe I should show Genji. He seemed pretty down when I told him not to come to Makai with me...

Or I guess I could ask a question, if anyone is actually seeing this. What do you know of youkai? Magic? Do you have it, wherever you are?

That depends on what you consider to be normal.

Uh. Ordinary humans, no flying or super-strength or magic bullets out of thin air. All of that's a kind of magic, I guess...

Then my world isn't.

I'm not human. None of us are.

[lotuslegend]

[She tilts her head the side.] That much seems obvious. I don't think many humans I know have eyes and skin like that.

[Red eyes? She'd had them all her life. Gold eyes? Marisa's weren't that out of the ordinary. But she'd never seen anyone with neon-blue eyes that seemed to...glow. And the pale skin was a give-away too.]

A lot of people have mistaken me for a human before, though.

Well, I suppose if they'd never had contact with non-humans before, it's a passable mistake.

...ah. I know most of the fairies here have names like that. But, well...fairies aren't human, either...

What's your world like, anyways?

Hmm. [She legitimately thinks to mull this over.] A world full of magic, based on when humans in the regular world stop believing in the fantastic, is the best way I can summarize it.

I've heard of other worlds with magic. Yours sounds unique from the others, though.
