[The video turns on to show Tidus. He looks tired, more tired than anyone has ever seen him. His face is smudged with dirt, and still red from shed and unshed tears. Yet despite the fact that a piece of him has been broken, there's a determination, a fierce stubborn intent set on one thing. He's come to far now, and he won't let it all be in vain.]

[After ending at 1:30, the video goes blank for a few minutes before switching back on to this, which ends at 4:09:]

[ooc: so yep, that's the end of the first game! While I'm still not certain where I'm going with his cannon, I am not dropping Tidus and for the time being he can speak to people on the Farplane. He won't be responding to comments on this post, give him a few days, but characters are free to react. I'll make a new post later regarding that.]

[....What....? Was that really it, was it really over for Tidus? They had some good times together- and he wished they could have more. But he understands what it means to have to disappear.... after these games are over he knows he won't have long to live. After all, Battler Ushiromiya dies in 1986.

Ah- .... he wasn't supposed to cry- he thought all his tears were dried up, but it seems like some still fell. Dammit.]

it's always inevitable, isn't it? that was what she had told him, once. there's little use preventing what's meant to happen... but there's no way to prevent the emotional consequences.
