It doesn't matter, it was just a dream.

It looks like I missed all the fun around here...oh, boo.

[ ooc: she returns! we'll say that she was like, injured in a fight and in a coma or something for a while. that's where all the weird dreams came from ]

Um - of course I am~ I'm just listening to your lovely voice.

Lovely voice...? Well, I guess so- but if you're going to flirt like that it's hard to concentrate.

[He smiles at that, putting the rook back down. WELL- might as well grab the king. He shows that one to her.]

And here's the king... it can move any direction- but only one space I'm afraid. The queen is the one that has a lot more freedom.

[soulfist]

That makes sense~ The queen always gets to do whatever she wants.

Is that so-? Maybe it's because the king lets her do whatever she wants....

Oh~? Is that because he knows better than to try to keep her grounded?

Is that what you think? I guess if you put it like that it's true- even a king knows not to tick off a woman.

As it should be~ [ she smiles and reaches out to gently take his hand, then the piece from his hand ]

[he watches her take the piece.... then his eyes move up to hers.]

You have to remember chess is a game about wits- cornering your opponent and making them submit is the best strategy.

[ she smiles at him as soon as their eyes meet ]

I like the sound of this game already~

[and he leans back in his seat.]

[ she smiles and flicks a piece on the floor ]

[he looks down at that piece. does she expect him to get it or something?!]

I didn't know you were such a klutz.

I'm not usually... Unless, I'm nervous.

I'm...always nervous around you, Battler~

[ is she blushing? oh she is alright ]

[he sees it even!!]

[ she reaches out to him, touching his face ]

[WHOOPS... he knows where this might be going. He reaches up and grabs Morrigan's wrist, pulling her hand away from his face.]

....Morrigan, we can't.

I just wanted to touch your face~
