[The viewer will also hear thunder and out of the peripheral they may see flashing lights that should bring to mind lightening…it’s all so dramatic!]

[And suddenly the poster is tossed aside and who should be standing in front of the camera? Kino Makoto! She’s not really looking at the camera right now, but off to the side at the amazing special effects…]

Ami-chan is so great, I’ll have to thank her for this later…Oh!

[Oh right, she’s on camera!]

Hi! I’m Kino Makoto, but most people just call me Makoto or Mako-chan, I’m fine with either one…and this is Cooking With Thunderbolt [a pregnant pause] yeah…I know the name probably needs some work…but cooking is the main point right?

[Let her guide you to her cooking space.]

So I guess you’re all wondering why I’m doing this…maybe? Well it’s in honor of Mister Steve Rogers…and to other inquiring and interested minds out there who want to know…

…can a pizza be tossed across the room like a discus and land without making a mess or more importantly without ruining the pizza? [Yes, she’s serious] It’s a one shot deal, but we’re going to find out!

[If nothing else at least you will walk away from this with the cursory knowledge of pizza making.]

Alright…you want to have everything out and ready. Your dough…it can be either frozen or hand made…your mozzarella rope, I’m going to stuff the crust…sauce, homemade or bought…and your Italian cheese blend, and pepperoni. Make sure your oven is preheating and that you have a pizza pan [holds up her large round pizza pan] and nonstick spray.

[The video then zooms in on her hands and her large pizza pan.]

Now since the goal is to actually toss the pizza across the room I’m not going to do any dough tossing tricks this time. We’ll just start in the center and press the dough to the edges of the pan…press up and make sure at least an inch of dough is hanging over the side…because when you lay your rope of cheese around it this will come over and you’re going to pinch the dough over the cheese to seal [like so…

…and then she goes over to the oven and puts just the crust inside.] I’m going to pre-bake the crust for just a few minutes, between 8 and 10, so we don’t end up with the dreaded wet pizza which tends to be the downfall in some homemade pizzas…

[But fortunately for the viewers the waiting time is edited out and it is mere seconds before Makoto has her partially baked crust out of the oven]

Alright, no we’re going to spoon on an even amount of sauce and then put on our toppings…I think some extra cheese will keep it together…you can use whatever toppings and sauce you want, some people use barbeque sauce…I’ll be sticking with my pizza sauce…and toppings, you can use whatever you want too, but this is a Steve Rogers inspired pizza…you’ll see why…[and she’s not showing you how she is doing her toppings on purpose]…and when you’re done with that you’ll put the pizza back in for another 12 to 16 minutes…but just keep you’re eye on it, this one is pretty big so that’s what I’ll be doing. Basically when the crust is golden and the cheese is melted you’ll know you’re there…or just about.

[Again, for your convenience the waiting stuff is edited out and you’re back with her in just a few moments.]

Alright! It’s done, it’s had time to cool a little, and the pizza is secured to the pizza pan…I had to improvise with some little plastic clips…but it should keep it from sliding around too much…now for the unveiling!

[And she holds up her pizza! TADA!]

I call it…the Steve Rogers Flying Special pizza! We’ll see if this one can actually be tossed like a discus.

[The video zooms out and the angle changes, clearly there is someone else giving Makoto a hand. You are able to see her standing in her kitchen with her large pizza held up much like a Frisbee. You can also see her living room; most of the space is occupied by a long table.

As the…ahem…tension starts to mount, she gives the pizza a toss…it seems aerodynamic…it looks like it’s flying…it looks like it’s about to fall short of the table…but no it lands! And it skids…stopping only when half the pizza is hanging off the table while the other half is teetering on the edge for dear life…

…but the Steve Roger’s Special is saved by Makoto…who would rather not have a mess on her floor.] I guess you can toss a pizza like a discus...and no mess! Though I guess it might be a little disappointing for those of you who were just waiting for the chaos...but I think I'd rather eat this pizza instead of scraping it off the wall.

[Holds the pizza up for another round of admiration.]

That's nice of you, but in the end it'll only be an edible replica...a tasty one though.

I think it's the biggest pizza they've ever eaten. It even managed to fill Usagi-chan up.

I didn't know pizza could be thrown without making a mess. If I was doing that, I would have likely missed or cause a huge mess.

I didn't know that either, I did my best to keep it pretty stable on the pan though.
