[ Buffy and Dawn are in the back of the RV, talking about something that seems a little relieving. Buffy seems a tiny bit more relaxed, anyway. The audio in the video doesn't seem to break in until-- ]

At least things can't get any crazier right?

[ Then an arrow comes through the side of the RV. Buffy's eyes wide, she looks at Dawn. ]

You know this is your fault for saying that.

[ They both peek out the window. There's a bunch of knight lookin' dudes on horse back with weapons. Buffy sighs, then heads into the next room. The other room has already noticed, they keep talking and there's a scramble to get down and stay away from the walls and under the tables while Buffy and Spike get weapons. A sword starts coming down from the ceiling, then Spike grabs it with his bare hands just as one almost hits Buffy. ]

Now might be a good time for something heroic.

[ Buffy looks around. ]

Xander, hatch!

[ A sick-looking Xander helps Buffy get out of the ceiling hatch. She climbs onto the roof of the RV. She gets up and the knight in question begins wildly swinging the sword at Buffy. Weaponless, she dodges and kicks him down, disarming him, punching until he knocks her off the side of the RV. She's hanging on as the other riders catch up, then kicks sword-guy in the face. More knights are getting on top with grapplehooks. Buffy continues fighting sword guy, then kicks him off of the vehicle.

Two more get on top of the RV, two-on-one time. Dodge, kick, punch, backflip kick. Mace guy and giant axe guy start attacking her, Buffy grabs the knight formerly known as sword-guy's sword and uses it to pry the mace away from mace guy, pulling him close while axe guy tries to swing at her from behind him. She kicks axe guy, throws mace guy off of the RV, then gets into a punch and grapple fight with axe-guy until she gets his axe, throws him off the RV, and throws the axe into the chest of another knight climbing up onto the roof of the automobile.

All seems quiet-- until a horse riding in front of the car throws a javelin into the driver's seat, stabbing Giles and crashing the RV. Buffy jumps off, falling to the ground as the RV flips over on its side, then the video cuts out. ]

[ Pretty badass and all there, Buffy. But okay, no, wait, priorities-- ]

... Is everything okay? [ despite the question she still sounds relatively deadpan - never showing worry, nope. ]

[ About two hours later, Buffy replies. In the background? A dumpy looking shack gas station with a few holes in the wall now. ]

No. Really, really not.

I figured as much.

[ at least she's still talking, that's one good thing. ]

How bad exactly is the situation from 'a little' to 'we're pretty much screwed over'?

[ video ]

The second one. Willow's looking at Giles to see if she can slow the bleeding, but even if she can the building is still surrounded by the knights of forehead-triangles.

You guys aren't out of danger yet?

[Video]

Uh, wow.

Is he...

[antibadstuff]

He's alive, just... [ She looks panicked. The fact that the place they're in looks like an abandoned shack of a gas station doesn't help. ] He won't be for long if we don't get him help.

[He tries speaking to her calmly, voice level.] Maybe someone could worldhop there, someone who knows how to heal? Or-- is there any place nearby?

Worldhops have been cut off from my world. Already tried that. We're in the middle of the desert at an abandoned gas station surrounded by a whole crusade of those knights there. Willow's holding them off with a barrier.

I take it now isn't the best time to talk.

As good as any right now.

[ Buffy's seated now, though behind her it's obviously a run down place. Willow's trying to do what she can to slow the bleeding in Giles's wound, so Buffy doesn't have much to do while the general that they captured is still unconscious. Buffy looks exhausted. ]

What's happening? Aside from the obvious.

In a nutshell? Crazy Hell God named Glory wants me dead because I'm protecting my sister Dawn, who happens to be something called "The Key" that does god knows what. So we're running because there's no way to fight her and our friendly neighborhood forehead knights decided they just want to kill Dawn because that way at least Glory can't have her. So they threw a spear at Giles and crashed our RV and now we're stuck with him bleeding out, in a rundown gas station, with no medical attention, no way out, and the knights outside trying to punch a hole in the barrier that Willow put up to protect us.

Oh and worldhops don't work on top of that. Hi I'm Buffy, if we've talked before I am seriously so stressed out right now I don't remember.

We've got a run-down gas station that Willow put a barrier around, but it won't last very long.

Is your driver okay?

[antibadstuff]

Giles is bleeding. A lot. Willow's trying to see if she can do something to help. I'm waiting for our hostage to wake up.

[whitechocolate]

[Sam's eyes widen as the javelin stabs the man in the video. He's always been a fan of blood and gore in movies but this is different. It's real, even if it's happening in another world and Sam squirms.]

Buffy?

[antibadstuff]

Sam, hi. [ Buffy really doesn't look like she's not incredibly tired right now, but there's no way that she can rest. ] Cut off worldhops then show us getting screwed over. I almost think it's doing it on purpose.

You look like you need a vacation after all this is over.

[antibadstuff]

If this has a good ending, I'm definitely taking one.

Is everyone alright?

The short answer is "no." The long answer is we're all still alive at least. [ A short pause. ] Except Spike, but he was already undead.

He's a vampire. I don't like him, but he's the only one who comes close to being as strong as I am so if it comes to us between Dawn and Glory, I'd rather have him on our side.
