[Coulson is staring intently at the computer screen. Very intently. In fact, this may be the most serious that he's ever looked -- which is saying something. The man doesn't do much that isn't serious.]

Almost...

[The word is muttered to himself, brow furrowed.] Just about... There!

[And now, seriousness is replaced with absolute triumph. A kid who just got exactly what he asked for from Santa. Fiddling and a sheet prints. It's an order confirmation, straight off of eBay, winning bid. As he holds it up to the light read it's quite visible: Complete series: Captain America trading cards, original printing, near mint condition.

There's a bit of a grin starting on his face as he suddenly realizes he's sharing this. The expression fades entirely, and he pauses.]

...this is research. [And then he hurries to turn the video off.]

Great! You and I both, I can't believe I got to meet a real live superhero!

It is a little surreal, in all honesty. [Surreal and AWESOME.]

It is, but still, I always had a belief they were out there somewhere, even as a kid. It's like a dream come true.

Oh they've always been out there. More than you're likely aware of.

In my world, Captain America is a historical figure, after all.

We have comics of his here, but, he's not exactly historical. At least, not to my knowledge. I didn't show him the comics, though, I figured that might not be the best idea.

There are comics here too, but they're based on his real life adventures and accomplishments.

[Yup. Coulson has all of them.] I haven't shown him mine either.

I wonder if your comics and my comics are the same...even though our worlds are different.

Regardless, I think you should show him the cards. He might be happy.
