[The video feed turns on to show Mai reading a newspaper. She has focused on one page. Luckily from this angle you can see the title of a small article that reads "Mountain Fire in Suwa Area. Villa and Grove Destroyed". Mai sighs and sets the paper down.]

It's so small compared to what really happened. [She rests her chin in her hands.

After a moment she realizes she is being recorded from the computer.]

Oh! [She smiles and waves nervously.] I was about to update you guys anyway, but this is fine. We've wrapped up the case from before. I'm fine, and so is everyone else on our team.

...I'm afraid those two assistants really were killed though. [She looks down sadly.] I hope they can at least be at peace now. In the end...all we could do was have the house burned away for purification.

[She puts a smile back on her face and chuckles.] It's pretty strange just going back to regular things after all that.
