It has been a while since I have last seen him. Perhaps it is time to pay him a visit. What do you think?

[There is a chirp in response, and she give a soft chuckle. There is a pause, and when she speaks up again, she sounds confused.]

What? Why did it not work?

[There is another pause and when she speaks up again, she sounds a bit desperate.]

Oh Soa, please no. Anything but this....

[Another pause, and when she speaks up again, her is starting to crack. You can practically hear the tears in it.]

No! Dear Soa, no, not again! I do not want to go through this again... Naesala...

[And the post ends there.]

((OOC note: Rose's IC reaction to Naesala's character being dropped. After this she will be going back to killing her own emotions, like when she first came into DDD.))

I don't know what to talk about. He is no longer on the community and I cannot even worldhop to him. It feels like my heart just shattered....

... Do you want to come over? Or me to come over there? [This is as close to subtle as Jak gets in hinting at not thinking her being alone is a good idea.]

[Not that he actually knows what he's going to do once he gets there.]

[She's in the main room just sitting by a window with her dragon in her lap. At least she's not crying anymore, though she couldn't even if she wanted to.]

[He slips inside and pushes the door shut behind him. He doesn't say anything just yet, just stands beside her for a moment in hopes that he can screw up being comforting a little less if he keeps his mouth shut.]

[She's quiet for a bit. It was somewhat comforting just to have him there, even if he wasn't saying anything.]

[She's just quietly petting Rascal, not sure what to say herself, afraid that if she says anything about Naesala, she will start crying again. But she does finally speak up.]

How are things with you and Keira?

... Not bad. Pretty much normal recently.

[And he awkwardly falls silent again, because the obvious response is the subject they're avoiding, and he already knows the answer anyway. He doesn't really know how far he can take this topic before hitting trouble, anyway.]

[And quiet again, for awhile. She's grateful that he is not pushing the subject.]

I am tired, Jak. I am tired of fate playing these cruel jokes on me. Twice with Zeig, and now with Naesala. Things were so much less painful when my emotions were dead.

Yes, I was not happy, but I was not sad either. I was able to survive and keep going.
