Well, that went about as well as it could've. Bit disappointed I was late for the party earlier with Kouga and Leo, though my other theory about the little present I got ended up being true. Too bad - doesn't suit me to have a matching set.

Enough of that, though - I'm curious, since people do mention it from time to time:

Do you prefer working alone or in a group when you're asked to do something?

A group definitely. Outside of it being just more fun in general, it's easier to get things done.

You don't think that there aren't jobs that can be fun to work on by yourself?

[Not being facetious, surprisingly - just wondering. This is coming from one who usually doesn't work with others unless it's incredibly dire straits.]

Of course there are.

But I enjoy doing things with other people more, you know?

I suppose. Guess I'm not as big of a fan of crowds as I thought I was lately.

That's understandable. To be honest, I meant more in the way of friends or people you know well, as opposed to a large crowd of random people.

It varies from person to person though, as you've probably noticed with the replies you've received.

Guess so. I guess from my line of work it's just more common for us to not work together unless we absolutely have to.

Out of curiosity, what do you work as?

A present and a party?Whatever for was the celebration, Rei Suzumura?

Ended up meeting up with Kouga to grab something - ended up being late to deal with a malfunctioning Goryuu. They're machines that help assist Priests with sealing minor Horrors.

And I'm not the only one with the Seal - apparently Kouga's been hit with it too. Can only assume that whoever's doing this is targeting Makai Knights in general.

Leo's repairing it so I can take it back. At least I did get a chance to catch up with Kouga since we worked with Tsubasa in Kantai.

Not much. The guy who did this wears a mask and disguises his voice - though the fact that his one arm is like a Horror's would make it a bit easier to find him.

Either he's got a way to disguise himself or he's just that good at hiding; we haven't heard or seen anything about him since he attacked us to place the Seal.

And he leavesno path or scent

to follow?

What of that arm-I did believe you Knights had a way

to detect Horrors.

Not that we've been able to track, no. Silva hasn't been able to get a trace on him since the attack happened on us - it's a faint sense of a Horror, but it's like the human part of him overpowers it or something.

I don't honestly know - normally it wouldn't be a problem for us to track someone like that if they really are like this. He isn't possessed by a Horror, we know that much. Just uses powers like one.

How unfortunate. [ a pause. she's almost wondering if she shouldn't ask- ] ...Tell me, do you know

how long you have,

or how quickly that sealworks?

Outside that episode where I was acting as if it had actually activated? I have no idea. Been trying to keep from activating my armor unless absolutely necessary in order to keep it at bay, but it could be anywhere from a few months to a few days as far as we know.

[ OH RIGHT THAT VIRUS- ] At that time...I was notmyself either. Although,

what I said to you,

And anything at all,

... I appreciate it - really. But for the moment, most of what I want taken care of are just my assignments, and those are more than simple enough for me to take care of on my own.

And so us spectators are helpless to help.

What a tragedy

this may turn out to be.

We'll stop it before it becomes a tragedy. That much I'll make sure of.

You sounded so beaten when you believed it had

activated. What then?

[ it may sound like she's saying 'hurry up and find that enemy'- well, that's because she is. she's upset that she may lose a friend. ] How will you know when your life is due?

I suppose the only way I'll know for sure is when the chest pains from the Seal become more frequent. Right now it just hurts for a while when I summon my armor.

I'm not letting that happen again. [Being that defeated, anyway. Brought back some painful memories.]

The pain's still proof that I'm alive - it's at least letting me know that I'm still fighting, and I'm not giving up until we find the bastard.

It is tiring to see this struggle only

at a distance.

I can only attempt to giveso much reassurance.

The reassurance is appreciated, though.

But this guy's good. It's been hard to get any sort of trace on him so far, but he'll slip up. Might even be an inside job - would explain why it's been hard to find anything on him.

[He doesn't like the possibility of that considering his track record with that sort of thing, but it was definitely possible.]
