[ Huge, huge, huge, huge dilemma. Natsume got an ability. He's a little worried about leaving his room since Nyanko was already out when he found out that when he was touching things, they just kind of melted or.. liquefied-- he's not really sure what's going on and it's freaking him out more than he'd like and the freaking out is making it so that he can't control what he's liquefying when he touches it.

At least the community got the message when he accidentally liquefied his notebook trying to turn it on and made an appearance somewhere else so he didn't have to touch anything. ]

Can someone explain what's going on? I think I've melted half the things in my room... [ Natsume looks pretty panicked about this, and there are a bunch of piles of melted items (like this) on his floor. (At least the floors are hardwood-- it'll be easier to clean up.) ]

Before. It started a little after lunch. I thought I got cursed for a little while.

Maybe it will leave soon.

It.. seems like a virus, so hopefully it will. [ Since there's no curse mark or anything.. ]

Wait a second. You didn't mean virus when you said curse...? [Hang on. Let Rita process this for another second.]

.... Okay. [She's still a little suspicious.]

[ He just doesn't want people to worry about him if they don't have to. :( He sighs and leans back, his hands on the floor bumping into his bookshelf, which immediately starts melting down, but Natsume pulls back immediately so the books on it were safe because he caught it before more than just the bottom melted. ]

Natsume! [OMGOMGOMG.] Are you okay? Did it hurt?

[spiritually]

[ He's looking really freaked out at the bookshelf for a second before he turns back to Rita. ]

I'm-- I'm okay. It's not hot or anything, it just melts. Nothing fell, I caught it before it completely broke down. --Do you think everything will change back after the virus is over?

[asdamaged]

... I don't know, sweetie. I wouldn't count on it.

[spiritually]

Maybe when break rolls around I'll try to get a job to replace some of these things. I don't know how I'm going to explain it to Touko-san and Shigeru-san.

Not too expensive. It was just a cheap one I got from the department store.

[ He has 'accidents' way too often to keep anything really expensive in here, after all. ]

I just don't want to inconvenience them.

That's understandable. Just don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it. People don't really mind most of the time.

I know. [ He pauses. ] They're my family now. I don't want to lose that. I know they won't hate me for something like this [ now anyway ] but I won't know how to explain it either. I don't like lying to them.

That's true. I didn't believe Astor at first and you're older than her. Telling the truth might turn out badly.

[spiritually]

Telling the truth about things that don't seem likely is hard. I don't blame you for not believing Astor at first either.

I still don't feel right about it. Anything could have happened while she was on here alone.
