Hello, everyone. I know you're all rather busy with your newfound powers, but if I could have your attention for a moment?

As you probably noticed, there was some worldly overlapping a few days ago. I think the bulk of it's been sorted out, but I'd just like to double check, as it were.

Chime in if anything's out of place, or if you're not where you ought to be, if you please.

Are you expecting there to be anything out of place? Has this sort of thing happened before?

Not in the time I've been here, no. But, with as many worlds involved as there were, yes, I'd expect some lingering effects.

Of course, if there aren't any, I'll just count myself as being very, very lucky.

It does make sense, yes. I'm afraid I haven't been part of the community for very long so I don't really have much of a reference for these sorts of things.

Not as often as you may think, actually. I'm not even certain if it happened here before, to be honest.

I'm guessing it's more complicated than just getting the worlds untangled.

More than a bit, but it's what has to be done.

[That someone is a somewhat annoyed looking, pale man in white. Several more of the wee critters are pattering about on the bookshelves of the Victorian-looking study behind him.]

I had some...trouble when the worlds, it seems, collided: *these* little creatures turned up. I'm not sure quite what they are, and while they're endearing... they're rather underfoot.

And they're eating anything in the house that's high in sugar or fat: they've eaten some fancy tuna that my cook bought this morning, and they ate a cake that was meant for my sweetheart's birthday.

If someone could tell me how to be rid of them, I'll be eternally grateful.

If I'm right... and I usually am, I think those are called Adipose. Relatively harmless, as you've no doubt noticed. I've not had any dealings with them myself, but perhaps you could ask elsewhere?

Yes, they're rather cute little things, but they do get underfoot and they tend to...eat things I needed. [One is trying to climb up into his lap; he picks it up and puts it on the desktop. It waddles out of sight.]

Perhaps I can sell them as pets: there's an intense fondness for cute things, in my country. [Somewhat disappointed, but not disheartened]
